Tasks

  • Sales of chemical raw materials for the personal care market
  • Support of an existing customer base with a focus on the DACH region and French-speaking EU countries
  • Intensive and application-related advice and support for existing and new customers in close cooperation with Product Management, Marketing and Research & Development
  • Maintaining long-term customer relationships, acquiring new customers and opening up new areas of application
  • Introduction of new products and technical solutions in the markets served
  • Observing the market and competition and carrying out market potential analyses
  • Developing strategic plans for short and medium-term business development
  • Preparation of quotations, pricing according to internal specifications and responsibility for reporting and correspondence
  • Participation in seminars, conferences and trade fairs as well as supervision of trade fair stands

Qualifications

  • Chemical studies (university level)
  • Substantial sales experience with active ingredients in the personal care industry - Ideally knowledge of applications and formulation
  • Capability to create a business case and design different pricing models
  • Proficiency in English and aditionally either in German or French
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills and a confident appearance
  • Commitment to traveling approximately 50% of the time
