Aufgaben

  • Oversee the global IT Center of Excellence for Quality Systems. Responsibilities include staff-related tasks such as recruitment, replacement, employee development, performance evaluation, and salary review. Financial accountability for associated cost centers, including personnel costs and costs for external service partners
  • Identify and review the IT needs of the "Quality" business function. Provide advisory on suitable solutions and support the prioritization of IT projects and change requests. Contribute actively to the project portfolio process and manage the implementation of quality-related system solutions. Serve as the escalation point for resolving issues
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of lab and QA systems, driving continuous improvement in functionality, stability, and performance in collaboration with assigned teams. Oversee and manage incident and problem tickets related to lab and QA systems
  • Provide technical expertise to support projects, changes, and maintenance of lab and quality systems. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and contribute to the selection and preparation of future systems
  • Ensure compliance with GMP regulations and IT security policies for new and enhanced solutions. Appoint system owners and ensure adherence to defined roles and responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders. Build strategic alliances to support the team, department, and company objectives. Review and approve major contracts for IT services related to lab and QA systems
  • Directly manage 2 reports and oversee an additional 6+ internal team members through indirect reporting structures, Manage a diverse group of 10-20 external contractors

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a closely related field, Master’s degree in Business Administration, or an equivalent advanced degree
  • Required: IT Solution Specialist (e.g., Microsoft Certified), Preferred: Project Management certifications (e.g., IPMA, Prince2, or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience with over 10 years in IT applications and/or infrastructure roles, Advanced expertise with 5-10 years in IT Service Management
  • Deep expertise in Lab and QA systems, including but not limited to CDS, EWB, Moda EM, WINKQCL, PLA, Softmax Pro, DMS, TrackWise, and LSO/Cornerstone
  • Superior project management capabilities, coupled with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
